  • I am speaking at the Software Quality Assurance Management conference on Software Project Management next week in Warsaw. The official event site is here: http://sqam.org/prt/view/projsoft.html
  • I’ve learned what I wanted to learn from writing my own CMS and managing my feeds manually. Now I am moving the site to WordPress to take advantage of the fact that the open source community is as a whole, much smarter and more productive than I am as an individual.
  • I’m looking for a virtual assistant to help with research and various online tasks that are eating up my time. Email me if you are interested.
  • I checked my Amazon associates earning report for the first time today. No one bought a project management book through any of my links, but someone bought a Garfield calendar after clicking on a link to Amazon on my site and earned me $0.70! Thanks, stranger!
  • I had an idea for a productive use of Twitter. I’ll try to Twitter at least one good idea I have every day about agile development. Follow “agileactivist” to get my ideas as they come to me.
  • I finished the CSM course and I am now a certified scrummaster. Funny, I don’t FEEL different.
  • I posted my fourth podcast, and I’m not adding them to the news anymore. I’m podcasting regularly now, just check it out
  • My third podcast is posted and listed on iTunes, Odeo, and Blubrry. I made this one with my new mike and mixer, so the sound is much better. If the last two turned you off because of the bad sound, please give me another chance.
  • I did it! I made a podcast. I’ll get better at this podcasting stuff. I already have some regrets about my first attempt, but a better mike and more practice and I’ll be a podcast star yet. Here it is
  • Well, I decided to take the plunge and start sharing the lessons I’ve learned through my consulting practice in a podcast. I got the tools, learned to use audacity, and I’m picking out theme music. Content? I can talk agile until I’m blue in the face. Stay tuned…
  • So, I’m doing everything by hand with no blog engine. That means that if I want an RSS feed, I have to just code the XML myself. That’s what I’ve done. I’ll maintain an RSS feed at http://www.paulklipp.com/site/feed.xml. Click to subscribe!
  • The open source RubyTime project that I manage was featured in it’s own chapter in the first Polish language book on Ruby on Rails, written by Michał Sobczak.
  • With the help of Maciej Książek and Agnieszka Figiel, I have started the Krakow Ruby Users Group.
  • Paul has posted his notes from the presentation to the Polish Agile Users Group on selling agile to his blog, here.
  • Read the it.wkrakowia interview with Paul Klipp of LLP here.
  • I’ve written a summary of Bruce Tate’s excellent new book, From Java to Ruby available here for free download.
