Youbethevc.com, started by Bang Ventures and coded by Lunar Logic Polska, has moved into the final round. The first cut yielded 100 semi finalists who were whittled down to twenty finalists by a panel of celebrity judges including Marissa Mayer of Google fame, Leah Culver of Pounce, Curt Schilling of the Boston Red Socks, and other leaders in their fields. Now the public gets to watch the elevator pitches and decide which three entrepreeures get their ideas funded and launched. I’ve gotten a flood of requests to resume the Agile Activist podcast, and so I am recording my next podcast next week. A friend and client, Robert Dempsey, founder of Rails for All and soon-to-be podcaster himself, decided to kick start both our podcasts with an exchange of interviews. Last month we released a Google widget which has rapidly grown to become one of the most popular widgets in Poland. It’s rather exciting watching the number of users grow.

We launched a social networking app with a twist. The target market is anyone remotely interested in tech startups and anyone who wants to turn their idea into a career, with someone else’s cash. Yes, there’s a prize, and a big one. The concept is exciting and the app’s got some really nifty features in the planning.
