Youbethevc.com, started by Bang Ventures and coded by Lunar Logic Polska, has moved into the final round. The first cut yielded 100 semi finalists who were whittled down to twenty finalists by a panel of celebrity judges including Marissa Mayer of Google fame, Leah Culver of Pounce, Curt Schilling of the Boston Red Socks, and other leaders in their fields. Now the public gets to watch the elevator pitches and decide which three entrepreeures get their ideas funded and launched. Apple picked up the PicoWiki site. Cool. I love wikis! And I love the iPhone! Two great tastes that taste great together.

I just launched PicoWiki, a simple hosted wiki for users of smartphones, including the iPhone, iPod Touch and Blackberry. It’s pretty simple, but that’s what you want with a phone. I started using it for all my notes. I can edit them in any browser so I do most of my editing at the computer, but I love the fact that I can access and edit the wiki from my iPhone or my Blackberry (yes, I am a gadget-freak and I have both).

I use it for all my notes, my diary, and for GTD. My project lists with next actions and inbox are pages of the wiki.

It’s currently supported manually and the service is donationware.
